Commission

It's my first illustration with male characters. The client wanted a garden/gazebo setting and for it to have a very saccharine feeling to it. At first, the piece had a very cool tone to it but the client wanted it warmer, so I made appropriate color corrections. I noticed I had a tendency to work with a cool color palette. I adjusted the background and composition a couple of times to make it more obvious that they are in a gazebo. I focused rendering the face and made sure the characters were showing the emotions that I wanted.

Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out. Given more time, I would've refined the background more, but I need to learn to finish my work within a time frame.
